Launching My Cafe in Tokyo 東京でカフェを立ち上げる

Actually the cafe was opened last October in Hama-Chou. It's in older 

part of Tokyo called Nihonbashi. Who would have ever thought of moving all the way from 

Maine, USA and opening a cafe in middle of Tokyo? What a crazy thought…..

実際にはカフェは去年の１０月にオープン。場所は東京下町の日本橋浜町。まさか遠いメインから

来て東京のど真ん中でカフェを開くとは誰が思っただろう。誰から見てもかなりクレイジーな話だ。

 

The old four story warehouse was renovated to a very contemporary looking building in the
old neighborhood with cafe on the 1st floor, apparel shops on 2nd & 3rd floor and office on the 4th floor. It took awhile before the residents had a courage to come in and
check out this strange looking building. And….. almost a year later, we have people who love this place and repeat customers are growing. Thank goodness……
何の特徴もなかったただの４階建の倉庫を今風のビルに改造し１階はカフェ、２階＆３階はアパレルショップ、４階は事務所に直した。始めはこの怪しげな建物に入る人が中々いなかったけど一年近く経った今では常連さんも出来てお客さんも増え続けている。ありがたい事だ。
